How it all started
It was a Tuesday afternoon in 2023. We were at a coworking space in Barcelona, arguing about which SEO tool to use for a client audit. Semrush? Ahrefs? Screaming Frog? Each had its strengths, but together they added up to a bill that made no sense for a small project.
Someone said, half joking: "Why don't we just build them ourselves?"
Three months later, the first version of iRankly was running. Not because we thought we could beat Semrush — but because we knew we could build something useful, accessible, and honest. Without annual contracts. Without paywalls for basic features. Without inflated pricing justified only by brand name.
